How’s it going with the pawsitive resolutions?

Anytime is the perfect time to reset your and your furries’ routines. We all wish for our pets to live their happiest, healthiest lives and pets also thrive on regular wellness care, including structure and consistency.

Here are some important lasting habits that you may want to implement, if you have not done so already:

  1. Ensure their mealtime routine is kept at the same time everyday to ensure their digestion system is regulated.
  2. Give them some time to have quiet relaxation before bed. This can help settle down any anxiety issues
  3. Only reward your pets with healthy, wholesome treats. Remember, treats are just that and not to replace main meals.
  4. Make sure they are getting enough hydration. Water is essential at all times for them and especially when it is very hot.
  5. Try, where possible, to walk them out of the midday sun and take different routes, so they have different things to sniff on the way.
  6. Regular grooming is essential for cats and dogs. You don’t want tangled fur, long claws, nor skin issues. Brush them regularly and put the fur from the brush out for the birds. They love it and take it to use for their nests.
  7. Annual Veterinary check ups are essential. Make sure their vaccines are up to date. You never know when you may need to urgently travel with your pet.
