Our furry friends love outings as much as we humans do. Why not take them on a doggie day trip, alone or with their pals. We have put together just a few ideas to entertain the furry guys, do just one activity or combine them all for the ultimate adventure day.

Day Trip ideas for your Furry Friends

1. If you like to go out early morning, why not pack up your coffee in a to-go cup and head for the beach (doggie friendly beach of course).  Arrange to meet like minded pals there and make a morning out of it. You get to enjoy your coffee with beautiful scenery and the pooches perhaps have their pals and the sand between their paws.

2. Picnics are a wonderful thing to entertain you and your pooch. There are many super picnic spots in Cape Town, why not make a brunch picnic. Pack you and your furry guys favourite snacks into a basket and head somewhere cool. Spend a few hours soaking up the sun, relaxing in the shade, all whilst chomping on yummy delicacies.  Remember to pack yourself a blanket to sit on and take along a waterproof blanket for pooch.

3. If a picnic is not your thing, but a restaurant is, then pack up your picnic and head to one of the many cool doggie friendly restaurants and bars around town. Some of them even stock our yummy treats (cos you can never have too many treats on hand), for example, Food Barn Deli, Foragers, Meeting Place, Noordhoek Deli.
